He had a less stable living environment before we developed our relationship.

I think there are more voluntary "aging in place" seniors than this writer thinks as most seniors I know are comfortable in their homes and prefer to live out their life in a known and comforting environment.

But, if the environment is pushing me that way, then I am definitely open to exploring it.

It seems like in this RE environment there are many low fee or low split brokers to choose from.

They also opened the door last year for crowd sourced funds, but I know very little about those and am wary of that format given how untested the market (and litigation environment) is. 

So I basically missing out on the additional depreciation that I would get on a larger (or multiple properties) and don't get to write-off any mortgage interest (in a low-rate environment).  

She had an idea about a collaborative environment for other therapists.We also have 800 sqft of area on the 2nd floor that hasn’t been fixed yet and therefore no CofO for that area, but could be renovated and obtained in under two months and about 10k in expenses. 

I am a little concerned about this rising rate environment we are in, so any money I take out of my current property I would look to have a fixed rate. 

LP's received an annual preferred return (percentage rate varied depending on current interest rate environment) of between 6% and 10%.  

Don't waste time trying to convince someone or a job that you're awesome, just keep moving til you find the people and environments that get you/value you without any contortions on your part.
