This is not exactly brokering because the list is being sold, just like a newspaper is sold to a tenant prospect with a list of the newspaper's published rental ads.Brokering occurs when a fee is collected (only) for matching up the tenant with the landlord.

I have to say..we spend a fair amount on other web portals that don't bring the traffic they used to...and I'm about to stop paying Zillow $149 a month as it's just not worth it. 

She makes way more money than I do, but she's been working as an independent contractor (web/app designer here in SF) since January, which means that our debt/income ratio is lousy, because no one wants to count this income.
