If you aren't subdividing, where will the money for the additional homes come from if you have just one parcel and it is securing the loan for the 1st house? 

You still have the cash as a security blanket but it is actually earning it's keep rather than buying crumbs.I understand conservative investors, what I do not understand is why they invest in real estate since they have no concept of the true value of their cash.

I am also curious if you are planning on keeping the current tenants or moving into one of the units to secure a FHA loan to house hack a little bit. 

On thing I can depend upon is me to take care of business and secure my investment.
