Net rental income has almost completely replaced what we used to make in our jobs.

They aren't tax savvy and neither are high income earners (both very low income/retired) and won't really entertain any savings strategies.

Brand new homes typically don't produce enough income to justify the purchase price, particularly in today's market.

Winter occupancy is lower than the other seasons, but still produces income.
