I have been on the other side of this - where STR's have thrown cigarettes, beer cans, etc... from the roof onto my deck, they've actually burned holes through my furniture...

The logic would be because closed funds have the capital burning a hole in their pocket and need to get it working.We don't list on crowdfunding sites because many of my investors are not accredited, and thus would not be able to participate.

In the mean time, a building like that will burn cash fast, so if your reserves are not sufficient, that could prove detrimental.

Not sure what happened to the house, but they were gone...maybe burned down, maybe storm damage and raised, maybe drug house raised, or whatever, but houses were gone.   

Some Landlords are very forgiving and they continue their same process and are burned multiple times.

I have 2 houses right now that we are going to have the fire department burn and I had to do asbestos remediation on both and its cost me 21k.. just for that.  

I've been burned too many times when the repair person comes out to tell me it needs to be replaced and I wasted $150.
