Welcome to BP and congrats on your decision to get started in real estate.Your comment about determining ROI struck a chord with me, particularly because when I first started investing in real estate I overlooked many things with contribute to ROI.

Thanks BiggerPockets, I hope to learn from the pros and contribute what I can to this forum.We recently moved into a new house, rented the old house and look forward to investing in more Single Family Residence, specifically to buy and hold.

Currently I'm a small time investor/landlord, having started out in 2006 with a duplex, adding a single family in 2010, and just now looking to expand my portfolio into more fix/hold multi-family properties in South Minneapolis, MN over the next few years.My main goals on bigger pockets are to network with more experienced investors, expand my Real Estate investing acumen, contribute where appropriate, and maybe even find my next deal.Glad to be here and thanks in advance to my future BP colleagues and friends!

We're interested in exploring new opportunities in buying and selling RE for profit.I found BP while researching a seminar guru and was able to find some great advice.I look forwarding to learning more from the experts here and perhaps eventually get comfortable enough to contribute what little knowledge I may have.

If it's the seller most sellers will not contribute a CENT to anything or anyone.Some sellers on short sales have no intention of selling they are just trying to get a few months free or buy time to renegotiate a perm loan mod.The sellers depending on the loan in default can get up to 3,000 from HAFA as a relocation incentive or sometimes the banks themselves in some instances are offering up to 25,000 to the homeowner to do the short sale.

I think you'll have a lot to contribute!
