Many people rent apartments, and houses, and are very happy doing so.In America we have homes on some of the largest lots in the world, with the highest square footage, our building standards are second to none.

I agree with @Jon Crosby the % of square footage for the accessory dwelling unit *(ADU) is the easy way.

No b.s deals either like adding sq footage or extra room straight up equity and make a little cash for finding me the deal thanks

They took the square footage which is above 1900 sqft.

Also, in regards to window sizing for basement apartments:A bedroom or office requires a window that is 2.5% of the square footage of the room.

I love the idea of maximizing the square footage on your lot with an ADU.

I just sent them footage, and arrest were made.DPD can be unhelpful. 

Once it is locked up, they post on Craigslist and other websites or email their buyers list, with the address, photos of the home, price, sq footage, bed/bath count, and retail price in the hopes that someone will contact them and they can then assign over the property to this second individual for a fee.One of these scenarios is legal, the other is not.
