Very valid points.

You have a valid reason to decline the tenant so in the unlikely event that they sue you have not done anything to worry about.

Is this just analysis paralysis or is there strong validity to this thinking?

Hi fellow members,I have a duplex in Toledo, Ohio which has 3 WATER meters and 3 GAS meters: one for each unit and 1 for OWNER.

Keep in mind every gas station near there has the bullet proof glass where they hand you something through a window.My mind really started turning on the wedding venue.

Thick above the ceiling and blown into walls between studs (which settled and was nearly useless).Terrible openings ALL OVER letting air in and out.We replaced the gas water heater with electric to avoid venting issues.BUDGET was 35k for both apartments.  

Your stove has a nasty gas smell, I’m going to leave town for a week and see what happens.
