i wouldn't pay it. they were certainly trying to take advantage of your mother. let them try to take her to small claims court. i can't imagine that a judge would rule in his favor. i would also contact the 'trusted family friend' and let them know what a ripoff their plumber is!

We do not talk about the property, but about other issues, like sports, the market, anything that we feel will cause the BPO agent to point the BPO in our favor.

You usually will not get a second look because you already received an offer from a buyer and it was supported by the BPO.In my opinion, the odds are not in your favor.

If an Investor really feels there will be a deal (if the BPO comes in favorably) and he/she is going to make money, I don't see anything wrong with paying for moving expensive out of their on personal account.
