I am very new to REI and even newer to bigger pockets, but I am curious of people's views.I have a neck tattoo that I not so intelligently got at a younger age, and while I do plan to get it removed I am curious of people's opinions on tattoos, obviously the ones visible in the workplace.

In fact, when we moved to southern California from northern California, we rented out rooms in our 4600 sq. ft. house and 2100 sq. ft. guest house on 20 acres, to 14 college aged girls from around the world, that were students in a ministry school.

If you want a written verification;Were rents paid timely.......how many times over 5 days------10 days-------15 days------30 days--was the property return in like condition-----did the tenant comply with lease terms------Such are straight forward questions that are pretty black and white, there is no liability in answering truthfullyYou can't expect a wrteen answer to; did you ever suspect drug use?

The downsize is the age of the structure and the lower rent amounts.I would much rather have one or two good SFH rented @ $750 with a PP of $55k each after rehab than one large, older double [this is why I have sold off all of my doubles and only have SFH now].

I was thinking of using cheap labor to cut out strips in the walls to run new wires, possibly making runs to the attic and distribute to the upstairs.The entire neighborhood is the same age so I assume most are unimproved.

You can see what text books they use in your state.Ask Realtors if they have a book you can borrow, drop into a RE brokerage and say hello, tell them of your interest and ask questions, but take care not to impose taking up their time, they do have to work.Your local library may have the state text book, check there.Other good sources are at college book stores, check out their RE section.At your age I'd suggest you do some more studying too.
