Even if it doesn't work out for whatever reason having this opportunity will get your feet wet and prepare you for more deals! 

Yes, we are in business to make money, but our primary goal is to offer solutions to that seller and if you are prepared to present them more than one possible solution, even if that means being more creative, you will be able to convert more leads, than if you are sifting and sorting thru motivated leads, looking only for those that have a clear titles.

When preparing to meet with contractors, it is helpful to at least have a sketch of what you want, price out some of the features that you want (i.e. retro light fixures, tile, the fancy sink, etc.), or at the very least show your contractor magazine photos of the type of interior design you like!

Use your free time to better prepare yourself and don't pay attention to the "Debbie Downers" that will undoubtedly break your chops because you are doing something different with your spare time.
