Two guys with chainsaws and a truck came and cut all the firewood out of the fallen tree and then I just had to make several trips with my truck to haul the brush to a composting facility.

I want to be in the buy and hold arena for the long haul. 

We have toyed with CPI but that wouldn't correct for a downward shift in the market, and are now tentatively thinking the percentage change from the local RMLS reports.

I would like both but it would be a couple years before I saw a positive dollar.I'm trying to sell some man toys to get the 2k and I feel confident I can scrape it up.

I'm about 80% complete and by using Superior Walls and Excel Homes I've only had 1-1/2 trash bins hauled away.

I'm going to get one myself, since I'm in this for the long haul.

Additionally holding the property has the advantage of generating real cashflow while generating rather significant paper losses to reflect on tax returns...so it's a win win all around to hang onto it for the long haul or try to 1031 into something else. 

I assumed this was the only purchase @Kevin Larson was going to make for a while and he was in it for the long haul.
