Two guys with chainsaws and a truck came and cut all the firewood out of the fallen tree and then I just had to make several trips with my truck to haul the brush to a composting facility.

We have toyed with CPI but that wouldn't correct for a downward shift in the market, and are now tentatively thinking the percentage change from the local RMLS reports.

Additionally holding the property has the advantage of generating real cashflow while generating rather significant paper losses to reflect on tax returns...so it's a win win all around to hang onto it for the long haul or try to 1031 into something else.
