Hello San Antonio Investors,I was recently awarded a 50% reduction in hours from my once full-time job as a Director of Revenue in the hospitality industry.

Any advice or suggestions on my goals below would be taken to heart.I’ve been interested in real estate for a while as a way to plan for the future, and I’ve been able to take advantage of these slower months to begin learning and get a clearer picture of my goalsI currently have a good job that I enjoy, but the industry I’m in is constantly changing, and you never know for sure where it's headed in the next few years.

I am also a newbie and just gaining knowledge of how to purse my desires in this industry.

It is obviously a great city and tourism is a huge industry so if you can get a good property to AirBnB then there is lots of demand for tenants. 

@ Ryan Fox  I'm looking to either a) Put a truck parking lot on a portion of the land to generate some income or  b) Lease the land to someone else with bright ideas,  Land is zoned industrial.

COVID has certainly changed the work from home situation in the short term and it is very likely that the shift will be permanent for many industries. 

It is in a rural area, no real industry in the town, but within 20 miles of an area with several job opportunities, a lot of farm hand work is available as well.
