I've purchased and sold many properties this way and feel it's a wonderful tool, but with risks.In the most simple form, you sell the house to your tenant and get a note in return.

But the investor demanding the auction only owns the lien for 2011, so that one year of unpaid taxes is the basis for the auction.As you mention above, based on that Things feeling Fuzzy in Case B, Lets say if Taxes for 2012 to 2015 were bought by the another Investor then how come Owner of 2011 Year Taxes can Force Auction as my Understanding is you need to keep paying Subsequent year Taxes to keep Interest in that Property, Right?
