PIN's are listed by address in the Street Index Number books in the Treasurer’s Office or Assessors Office you will see the Street Index Number books.These books are arranged alphabetically by street name.

I've been cheap my whole life, I never buy a book if the library has it, I study accounting, law, construction, remodeling and other subjects of interest.

If you buy this lien the owner will most likely not redeem and you will end up owning the 'worthless' property yourself, and then be responsible for the taxes etc.There is an excellent book on the subject of tax leins and deeds called:"Profit by Investing In Real Estate Tax Liens" By Larry B.

To be a success in real estate you need to:Dream your dreamPut your dream down on paperSet up a business plan around your dreamSet up short and long term goals around your dreamJoin a Real Estate Investing ClubResearch and Study postings at real estate investing forumsSearch out real estate investing books at your local library and study themSearch out used bookstores for real estate investing booksSearch out the laws in your state to determine what you can and can't do as an investorOnce you have completed the above you are now ready to take your dream to the next level.Search out two or three real estate investing strategies you want to use that fall into the 9 steps I've listed above.Now you need to take some courses and or seminars on your strategy of choice!

Again, the little 2-3% commission you are paying to the buyer's agent is worth it if you get a good deal and structure better financing.Remember, "you can't teach well something you don't understand yourself," and this fits most realtors in my book!

If you dont stay in contact with your past clients, send them reminders that you are still thinking about them or do something to let them know that they are still number one in your book, they start to ask themselves why am I doing business with this person/company.I dont want to sound like a salesman here but these are what I personally feel is wrong with the real estate industry.
