I am a new investor in your area and looking to make my first  multi family investment next year.

I'm always interested to network, I am still pretty new to investment real estate but hopefully soon I will be an owner-occupant on a multi-family property and also be renting out my single family home.

I am excited to be at the stage I am at where I feel ready to start trying to put in offers on small multi-family housing units to generate capital and long-term wealth!

Ok. So this is actually my first post ever on Bigger Pockets. I've been listening to the podcast off and on for about a year and a half. Recently, I deceived to start playing he game instead of watching from he sideli...

We are looking for single families and small multi-families.  

I can purchase 2 homes in Ohio or Alabama for roughly $100k each, rent each of those out for a small ROI, sell in 3 years, buy a multi-unit property, sell in 5 years, buy a forever home w/ADU.

Swanny I think is buying multis now and fixing them up.

, or a personal reference but if you don't mind me asking, how would you find a vendor/seller who wants to get rid of his multi family? 

I get keeping track of the material costs, etc, for tax purposes, but what about my labor costs.
