The lower two units being on the same electric meter doesn't automatically mean that the they aren't legally separate units, but its not a great indicator either.  

Could be minimal to nothing or even raise rates.money may flow more to cash and gold rather than mortgage backed securities...which actually is what determines mortgage rates.

With minimal default rates, steady occupancy, and rent rate percentages, multifamily (especially in the Class B and C space) has been a secure investment.

So, there are strategies to minimize those risks as much as possible during the construction and lease up period.

TX doesn't yet have a shelter-in-place order, but it's probably coming.As the saying goes, focus on what you can control.I wouldn't sweat the potential rate lock expiration; rates are going to stay low for a while.So far both the lender and title seem to indicate they can handle remote work at least on my buying side.
