If they are squatters, with no lease, it should be a VERY easy eviction.The BK did not "prevent" the eviction, just caused another 45 day or so delay in getting him out as now I had to file again for a new hearing to have a judge review the BK scenario, of course, this A-hole has no legit argument to stay any longer than that, so it is only a matter of time.

I've been flipping and renting since '91 around Birmingham, Alabama, so I've seen a few...from the courthouse steps, we bought a funky looking commercial building on 6 acres in a bad part of town one time for $24k, rented it to a shady "casino" group for 12 months at $2k/mo, then sold it for $180K on the 13th month.We bought a SFR on the courthouse steps in a different county for $80k.

If you've seen the house in person-- that means someone has to know the owner and have access to grant you rights, or they broke in and changed the locks to seem legit.
