Lessons learned?

I learned that Macon County has cheap properties for sale. 

Seems like this will be a long drawn out issue that could can easily be resolved with proper lease language and lawn care.

We do not know where our passions lie at this time but am looking for ways to invest and love the idea of house flipping and STR, but honestly so open and excited to learn about it all. 

In general the area is over built and has a lot of "mice after the same cheese" one of the difficulties is Baylor requiring freshman to live on campus and them expanding their living learning centers.

Lessons learned?

I'm looking forward to learn and interact with the community.

When you start feeling that way you need to get out of the classroom and go learn in the real world. 

Just like everything else in life, get started, keep honing those skills (i.e. keep reading, keep learning, keep attending the meetups) and watch yourself get better and better witch each property you buy.I hope this helps and good luck on your real estate journey!
