Has anyone recently used a lender that lends based on the rental income of a property?

I'm a starting investor based in Austin, TX.

My hang up is how the land is purchased.

We have a data base of about 14k and recently engaged a data co to comb through and get better phone/emails as some of the entries may be on the dnc now and some still have aol lol.

I would check on airdna to estimate how much based on statistics that it would make as a short-term rental.

I say “currently” because there is a bill passing through the legislature even as we speak to remove that requirement for 3-4 unit properties, so patience might be rewarded.And just make sure the zoning allows 3-families before you make a decision based on that potential.

Or perhaps the seller can provide you some financing.My guess is that any US-based lender would be making more of a personal loan than anything because it would likely be hard for them to put a lien against a property outside the States.Perhaps there are private lenders in that country that would be willing to lend to you as they would be more familiar with securing loans against properties there.
