If you plan on managing properties yourself, it will become a full-time gig as you scale.Figure out what you need -- If you're a DIY kind of guy, you'll need deals, financing (multiple types), realtors, contractors and sub-contractors, appraisers, handymen, etc.Compare the two -- Doing it yourself provides excellent learning but requires a lot of time and trial and error.

Skype and Google Hangouts are what all the professional video podcasters still use, so i'd stick with that for videoconferencing.    

Also anyone can give me open advice what all things I need to look for along with taking lots of pictures & videos.

Sounds excellent, but what happens when the stock market pulls back AND your companies discontinue dividends?

I think the podcast and ebook are excellent ideas and can be extremely valuable to military members that are fearful of holding on to a property when they PCS out of an area.

It would be an excellent starter project for you.
