I'm thinking that fewer properties will easier as it means fewer to manage but maybe I'm missing something because my strategy seems to be so different than most.

Matt,  NMLS is only required when dealing with consumer real estate transactions, so a commercial lender doesn't really need one.

I just finished reading "the book on rental property investing" by Brandon Turner and he goes quite in-depth with it but going back and rereading a chapter every time I want to analyze a property seems very time-consuming.
