Purchase price: $1,100,000 Cash invested: $50,000 Short term rental in Bastrop TX What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The plumber came out while in escrow stated it would be $8,800 and we got it covered by the seller to do it. 

Basically, from what I've seen (and this is purely anecdotal), they're not really going to go out past one, maybe two miles, unless there simply is no truly comparable property.
