Like I said rents in Oregon if you look back were flat for a good 10 years.. there was signing bonus's and rent decreases.. not many if any rent increases the increases were the last 5 years and in some areas they were substantial like 50% in 3 to 4 years.this led to a back lash in the city of Portlandia so now you have all these people screaming for rent control and you have the law that did pass were you have to pay 4500 to terminate a lease.. and other sundry items..

I do go with my gut as well in these circumstances and this one -- while certainly odd -- isn't screaming out to decline to me.But yes, please share and let us know how it turns out :)PS....I won't turn on instant book ever because I want that time to gut-check.

I also neglected to mention I had question him on wanting me to go door to door to ask if anyone knew someone who wanted to buy a house and he screamed at me at the top of his lungs for 10 minutes.Look, someone who tells you "if you don't follow through on what you say you're going to do, you better be unconscious or dead" then drops the ball on something as big as getting contracts sent when they say they will and before it's too late (as he did), then refuses to take responsibility (he refused to discuss it when I questioned him "let's just move forward, what other questions do you have" was his response), that's a poser.
