I have a question for investors in Massachusetts, has the market dried out in Massachusetts for multi-family homes in your opinion? 

The tank had to be inspected and cleaned as oil dries in an empty tank and clog the pipes and furnace.We had the tank auto refilled, the oil company sends me the bill, and I in turn bill the tenant.

Should have pulled trigger two years ago!

Only a sale will trigger the tax.However there are a couple issues here.1.

I had a gun pulled on me doing that, but we sorted it out before he pulled the trigger. ;-) 

Additionally, budgets have tightened since a lot of the free money dried up and the fast rising inflation has caught up with consumers causing continued downward pressure on prices and occupancy.

If possible, include in your welcome kit the location of a drop off laundromat (they wash, dry and fold for a fee).Make life easy for your residents, and you will be rewarded. :)

dry flys ?

I don't know any private lenders and hard money makes me nervous since I'm a buy and hold guy and the payback isn't as cut and dry as it is on a fix and flip.

Not to hijack your thread, but do any seasoned offshore real estate investors here know if foreign real estate investments over $50,000 trigger FATCA reporting requirements?
