Steer the conversation and make it there idea to invite you to the property for a walk through.

I haven't heard of it being an issue with underwriting either, but it does make sense to me that some mortgage investors would want to steer clear.

Buy a small skid steer and deduct it from your taxes.

I had an extremely horrific experience with a condo I owned that was managed by CAMCO management (google to see my review) and therefore, steer clear of any complexes managed by them or anyone affiliated (I recently heard the owner of CAMCO passed away and his daughter opened a new company.)

Steer away from odd Gmail addresses (especially when it comes to given them your SS and other personal details) unless you've done the work to verify them.

As an investor specialist and investor myself I would not buy or steer clients there until the past two years.
