I selected the applicant that I thought was best fit. 

With new home construction, very few home to select , 3 days DOM , multiple bids , seller market, do we need buyer agent ?

Like others said, be very careful when selecting contractors.

You can invest in any market selecting the ones that you believe are seeing the most growth, and do it from anywhere.
