It is an awesome platform and has been so fruitful in my journey in real estate and investing.

This is merely what I've observed from the content I 've seen online. 

Furnished Finder is a good idea, even if the fit with travel nurses hasn’t been ideal—it might be worth exploring other platforms for mid-term renters or marketing directly to local families in need of temporary housing.One thought: consider offering seasonal promotions or themed packages to draw in more guests, like holiday stays or discounts for longer weekends.

If you’re in it for cash flow, you’ll likely find it difficult to find a deal that will pencil out.Besides, like @Jason Taken said, hundreds of thousands of new units have come online post-pandemic, so there’s a lot of new builds at the moment.

You'll also need to be listed on more than just Airbnb, and they are the only platform that allows multiple checking accounts listed.

I only mention this because I noticed your mention of Furnished Finder, which is the only platform I list my MTR, and FF caters to 30+ day stays. 

Today is July 1, 2024There are currently OVER 30 Homes For Sale listed by SOWAE CORP in Queens, NY...If they have done this over 5 years, it seems there is no intention of any platform caring about their fake listings.

Some towns require a nightly online form to be filled out for any non-residents who are parking their cars (this is easily automated from an operational standpoint).As the MTR market becomes saturated over time, those who have separated themselves from the rest of the "competition" will continue to perform well by having an outstanding listing and all the MTR-specific amenities.
