Depending on that, I'm not sure what the discount would be in this instance but it may be comparable to a junior lien on a residential property, if not more favorable.Also something to keep in mind, these assets depreciate much more rapidly than a residential property, almost like a car would (since these are motor vehicle titles) which would effect the terms of the note.

There is a pump that stopped working - I called a plumber to come take a look and they said the motor burnt out and needed to be replaced - I setup the service for the next business day (after the weekend) and my plumber seemed to think it was not particularly urgent.

Being as car guy, I would say it depends because honestly I have gotten a 2002 Buick regal to go 250k before the motor went and then I drive a 2004 Subaru now with 140k I have maybe done 10k - 15k since iv had the Buick and Subaru.
