I am curious to see if this slows down the massive demand Raleigh has seen in the past few years. 

This is frequently being seen in terms of massive tax increases.

But people don't like the instability of last year's massive swings.

The electrician , plumber , HVAC , concrete ,  contractors ALL mark up their materials .

Other places a landlord who enforces a late fee for a few days delay will get concrete down the toilet and tenants who leave chaos behind in revenge.

I came across a random podcast talking about FL's market crashing due to inflated cost with too low of a demand, along with refusal to cover storm/hurricane from insurance agency ( I admit I haven't researched the truth behind this one), assuming it pushes owners/investors to go to private thirds at a massive premium.

Because yeah, they make a lot, but there spending is equally massive so NET, net is near to nothing monthly.
