Can you explain anymore on this "dovetail", sounds to me like a term used by some guru that is just a twist to a simultaneous or back-to-back settlement.

Framing twists over time, tile pops over time, and also, tiled shower was are HEAVY.  

I'm still relatively new, so I almost feel like there must be something HUGE I'm missing here: can someone please point out what that might be, gently?

Since you are really and truly just putting a slight twist on how you flip to work around the permit issue, do you really think they are being unreasonable against you as opposed to other flippers who don't do a work around?
