My friend and I are planning to buy an investment property (My second his first).

But if that's what it takes to sleep at night, it might be worth it.The one catch to that is that real estate is not your only option of investing.

It’s in pretty good shape at this point, rentable.I travel a lot for work, and a friend gave me the idea to do a short term rental as a one bedroom, locking all of my stuff in the other bedroom and office - I applied today and was denied because I don’t own both sides of my HPR, even though I have written permission from the owner of the other half….

However, all of the investors really like the property and the care takers and they like to visit and bring family and friends to the property.
