When I came across a completely stripped house it has a deck in the back and on zillow it was discribed as a 4 bedroom 1 bath house and was built in the late 1800s .

@Bryan Thomas IF properly maintained, slate lasts a long time...it's stone...the one thing to be aware of is that slate roofs are not "decked"...they use a series of wooden slats that the slate basically rests on.

Most long term parks require tenants to fully skirt their RV (so look for skirted units) and most tenants who really are staying long term will build a deck or patio, install a storage shed, create a garden, and show other evidence that they have made this their permanent home.

I cant tell if your roof is flat or low slope...if it is code (depending on area and what code they enforce) could require additional insulation above deck or below.... this can be very expensive if it is required above deck...Take at look at your code upgrade coverage and ask your contractor about the codes in the area.
