The mediocre professors were either still "attempting to do" or "had never done" and it showed.In my undergrad experience the most successful professors, with the most awards, patents, research grants, etc. were AWFUL lecturers.

You can be successful with a relatively small amount of capital, knowledge and execution of a few basic principles, and a decent amount of drive.For what it's worth, I have an undergrad degree in engineering and a Juris Doctor.

The other syndicator I mentioned in my previous post had no relevant industry experience before getting into the game, but he bought his own assets before taking outside money and has undergrad and grad business degrees from a top institution.
