I know a lot of South Asians (Indians/Pakistanis/Bengalis) invest in their own country but that is because they either go back frequently and/or want to maintain ties to their home country. 

Look at cities such as Paris, Hong Kong, Mumbai,Tel Aviv etc.

I'm now out East, which is far far worse, always a good reminder of why we love the West, and am working on getting back to MT before it, too, has gone the way of the Indian Peaks and the Sierra's. 

Another thing you have to be aware of @Pauline Jones is that a lot of the land in Coachella Valley is Indian lease land. 

I am Indian guy and working with homeowners in Wisconsin; they are not convinced about my background.

@Bob E.Do not mean to offend any of your wonderful phoenix residents, but when I compare class C between different cities, such as Denver or Austin etc, Class C in phoenix looks more rundown, for lack of better words to describe it.....a few I am watching now on loopnet around indian school road...Or is it simply my naivety?

The other cities in Indian are too small.

In fact, I lived right off 68th street and Indian School for many years.

I have been researching the Indian Trail area to be specific, but am very open to other areas.
