Spent enough pricing things at Home Depot to know that kitchens are crazy expensive, and standard window blinds cost pennies. 

These were purchased before i decided to get more serious about real estate and happened to work out so far, but I don't want to go into my next purchase as blindly. 

I'd rather work with a person with their ears and mind open than a person who is a know-it-all blinded by age and not open to opportunities. 

@Jay Hinrichs I sold one of my properties in Boston last year, and escalation clauses are not common there....so people were just bidding blind.

You need to invest in your education or it’s like walking across a field of landmines blind.

Recently as of January I have once again started sending out blind offers to vacant land owners and tax delinquent properties, but most of my properties have been obtained by searching the county records for properties tied up with lawsuits.
