There are always creative financing options, but at the end of the day as greedy as the bank is, they still won't give you the money for one simple fact, you are already in over (or at least up to) your head in their opinion.

The message you will send tenants is a new greedy landlord is charging top market rents but leaving me with this old rundown unit I have lived in for years.At that point they will seek something the same as their old rent or cheaper or they will move to a brand new place where they would have to pay the uprent that you are trying to charge.

the deal is mainly to keep my mothers 2 greedy siblings from selling the asset, also it is to create a rental stream for the family and use appreciation for refinance for other investing purposes. the intent was for me to live in the home and then manage the property as a rental.

. #1: most of them lie and tell us that they are actually the principal and not acting as a broker, #2: most recycle product "lists" that have we've seen several times and are quite dated (I recently was offered a package with several notes...3 of which I owned), #3: most try to get too greedy and try to structure the deal so that it doesn't work for us, and #4: most haven't got a clue what they are doing.
