It's going to be completely cluttered! 

check out the jetlending event tomorrow (wednesday 19th) usually pretty good turn out.. im not affiliated with them at all i just went to one event and was very pleased.things you might want to include here are the areas you are looking to purchase, what you are looking to purchase as well. you dont want to get bombarded with Crap and end up missing something good in the clutter! 

Apologies again for cluttering up the forum with this.

Lots of clutter, cheap furniture, photos all over the fridge etc. 

I will remove this if I have any complaints.The reason I am starting this one is because the whole point of making the  How to just start topic was for other newbies to follow along on how to just start as I was having the HARDEST time with it.The other topic just got too cluttered with advice which of course I am VERY thankful for.

But some things that most people would probably agree on are a neutral paint pallet - painting over the dark colors, and cleaning up as much clutter and personal items as possible for the pictures you or your agent will use to market the property.   

They all had to be perfectly clean and totally clutter free [not even a coffee pot on the counter] to look anything less than totally filthy. 

It's very cluttered, and the purple carpet reminds of a church alter color (but it is very pretty).I did a quick mockup of a less cluttered room, and used Shaw brown colored pet resistant carpet.I put a mushroom colored sofa at one end and an Avocado green and rust chair at the other end.I also put in a minibar and two small (vs one big) log burners (for winter and fall).it might also be nice to have some kind of sound system in the ceiling that can hitch onto your cell phone and play your music from your phone.If you notice rather than paint a wall, I simply used a drapery to color it from end to end.Here I used a muddy looking mustard color with some checkers on it.I also toned down the white window trim to deep brown color, and put some sheers inside to make the house feel bigger.You could also use knotty pine wainscoting in some areas to break up the horizontal-ness of it.

Hey @Erich Beyer I think it's unlikely that a pest controller is going to be able to fully address your bed bug problem unless the tenant makes a significant effort to remove clutter from the unit.  

Josh had another idea on that where you can leave a note on your dashboard for stuff like that, but I imagine it could lead to cluttering the dashboard to have lots of blog posts you want to refer to.
