Think of asset protection like layers of an onion, you want more than one layer in your onion!  

Probably cheaper and easier to put 2 layers 5/8 drywall.

IF it nots cedar shake, I bet you have multiple layers of shingles, In my area 2 layers and then you have to tear off. 

Joe points out correctly that it's vital know the risk of the flip.

They are about 3 times our size.Tenant screening is vital.

Keeping her mortgage in place is certainly possible, but adds a little layer of complexity.  

If you're doing single member LLCs, then there's really no reason to pay an attorney and you can do it just as you say.I think the multiple layers are overkill as if you are sued, you will be sued in Florida (or wherever you are purchasing the property).  

They are inexpensive and will cover your personal residence, rental properties, cars etc. with an additional layer of personal liability insurance.

Now, finding the right team to work with can be even more vital than choosing the market. 

There's also a second layer of design that I require from my architects that is more construction-related.
