Mine is more for a budget mind traveler.

We are traveling physical therapists, always on the move, so we're looking for advice on which location/market would be the best fit for us when it comes to investing in large multifamily properties, based on our criteria (below).

What I am is an independent contractor that works with notary signing companies, and other business that require a professional, dependable, extensive background passing person, who travels to people homes and helps them sign mortgage applications, mortgage papers, refinance papers and anything else that a long distance company may need to have someone help them work with their long distant clients. 

If your contractors are raising their price to travel longer to the job , thats normal.  

If you want to travel, I would suggest you do it to spend some time touring the neighborhoods you are targeting, then leave it to your ground team to view the property.

So there I was travelling from WA state down to Portland Oregon for a 3 day workshop with the Doug Hopkins Formula for Success excited and eager to learn.

As Blair pointed out, I snagged a 5 unit for $207,000 that is grossing $3,615/mo with 4 units wayyyyyy under market rent (the caveat is that my partner and I put in $7,000 in reno to make the 5th unit habitable again).

If so, we would love to hear from you.2   US business checking accounts - any bankers out there who would open business checking accounts for our US registered Corp and LLC remotely, ie without the need for us to travel to US.
