Cedar Park is land-locked.

However, we are currently living in long island now and need a property manager to manage those properties.

Like @Adam Gerig said, Indiana [the whole state] is land lord freindly.

We have some substantial equity and some of the Caribbean islands, specifically Bonaire and Curacao which are owned by the Netherlands look very appealing for a STR.

The island has some amazing tax breaks for real estate investors via their Act 60 formerly Act 20/22 tax laws.That said, purchasing in PR is complicated.
