There are cheaper one’s in D/F areas but I would be careful as those can create a laundry list of additional issues.

No one is going to care for your place like you and they are going to charge anywhere from 15-30% commission.

Properly executed, an investment in these types of property can garner substantial passive losses, often equal to the amount of capital invested, or more, even in years where the benefit begins to sunset.A few words of caution: Be careful not to let the "tax tail" wag the dog.

@Alonzo Moreland - be careful with turbo tax or other national franchises like H&R block, I just corrected some major mistakes for new clients and saved them a few thousand by amending.Similar to investing out of state, working with a CPA somewhere else can be just as easy.
