There's no "right" or "wrong" answer to this and I'm glad to hear of Jonathan's story because it sounds like it has potential and he liked school and it doesn't sound like he's coping like the others.To me, I found some of the worst people ever at college, and I went to a fairly big one here in Florida.

Hello,Does someone with experience know if there are better buy and hold real estate deals to be found in Chicago during the winter because there is less people to buy during this time?

I thought that this would be a wholesale potential but I just found out that they are about to Shortsale the home.

I found out today that the house my grandfather left to my aunt when he passed away is still on the market in PA.

I just started a flip and finally found someone able to get it done adding a bedroom and bathroom in the basement as well.

However, here is what I have found to be true in my 40 + years of real estate investing, financing, and syndicating1- 95% of the "gurus" have never been successful doing what they pitch; they've created a program to entice the average Joe to part with money they don't have.  

I've found no fewer than 9 multi family dwellings that are ripe for the plucking but I'm so broke I can't afford a free phone call. by my estimates, these properties combined would net me $8,600 a month in revenue depending on mortgage payments. it is painfully frustrating to see these numbers and not have the knowledge to obtain the capitol to put them in my portfolio.
