They just claim they pay their contractors by the hour.

. $500 to cover your major systems for a year sounds like a deal but do you honestly think a warranty company could stay in business if they were paying out on all those claims?

I’ve never had a claim before and utterly stunned by the surcharge I’m getting hit with by the 2 quotes I’ve received thus far.

Otherwise, it would be fairly easy to claim on pretty much any trip.

Also depending on the area, your customer/tenant demographic might be young adults and schools might not be as important as a solid coffee shop, or young families that *do* care about good school ratings, etc...

If there is a claim of say $30K due to a fire, they will only pay you out $15K (50% of value you were insured for).  

If the first applicant is a member of a protected class, they can claim you discriminated against them based on their protected class, not their credit report or income or Landlord reference.
