So maybe I'm naive, but I would give sellers more credit than assuming that they do not realize that some random person coming to them (whether calling themselves a wholesaler, investor, or cash buyer) doesn't stand to make a profit.

There was a random week where nothing came in, still not sure why.  

It helped me realize that I did not just randomly get lucky with my first two but that this can be replicated!  

And why would they just randomly snake it?

Try and get a Random Orbit (RO) sander vice a cheap finishing sander.

I was able to buy couch, coffee table, 2 end tables and lamps, console table, dining room table and 4 chairs, wall hangings, and a whole bunch of bowls and random stuff at target for about $2K.

I picked one randomly who asked for $250. 

They have a reference from their boss, who randomly happens to be friends with my uncle.

You'll need pots/pans, baking utensils, bottle openers, oven mitts, and all sorts of random stuff.
