I have a Lake Home on Lake Mahopac NY and want to market it as a year long, furnished rental to folks in NYC or elsewhere who want to experience Lake Life.

HEY EVERYBODY, I have just recently moved to Salt Lake and am supper excited to get into real estate investing.

You might be better off leaving it as a 2/1 and using that $38K for a down payment on a new rental.the 1500 includes taxes and insurance and this property could make a good air bnb, it has a lake view and is 10 mins from the beach.

We identify locations that newbies may want to experience (parks, lakes, amusement) and can position the rental to pivot to STR if needed.

My third property is my primary that I've completely remodeled and sits on 4 acres down the street from the lake where I now have around $430k of equity.  

My plans are to get into small multi family in Salt Lake County as soon as possible.

We are purchasing a commercial building in Lake Lure NC ( convenience/ grocery on top restaurant below) and we need to set up the two corporations and have a CPA/ lawyer on our team.

The owner below may have sole responsibility for the repairs (so long as you weren’t negligent) even if the alleged damages originated from your unit.

Just ballparking, adding an unfinished basement option to a 1500 SF home is probably 15-20k.In Salt Lake City, which is less than five hours away, basements are very common.
