Any time someone makes a recommendation and they are rewarded if someone else believes and acts on their recommendation, story, etc. it is by definition a “biased” recommendation.  

They might have a little trouble in the first few months, but the long-term potential of the places was too much to pass up just to try to time the first few months of rent.

A PML in markets like Phoenix probably didn't have a great time getting short-sold in the great recession. 

I just bought my first rental property in the Chicago area northwest suburbs (Cook county).

Direct marketing can be pretty time/energy consuming, have you considered buying directly from wholesalers?

Owners mistakenly ASSUME all PMCs offer the exact SAME SERVICES and PERFORM those services EXACTLY THE SAME WAY, so price is the only differentiator – so, they often select the first PMC they call or that calls them back!
