You talk about getting ripped off.. just take your plane into a bad shop for an annual that your expecting to be 6 to 8k and you get a 50k bill.. and they won't let the plane go until you pay it... its that kind of education that is invaluable.So like here on BP all sorts of great info.. and many folks just trying to find their way in the industry..

From my experience they will do a soft pull on your credit prior to ordering docs and will also require a verbal verification of employment again as well.Inquiries shouldn't be an issue because you " really haven't opened new credit yet," and you are just shopping for different banks.

yes, the average North American will probably have the reaction I did but the interesting thing was the Europeans I knew that used them didn't try to dry in them, they hung their clothes, I kept asking myself what's the point of having the combo?
