I personally used the podcasts for great benefits in learning which direction I want to go with investing and how to get there.Another resource that has been priceless for me is the local meetups in town such as the RING and the Passive Income with Real Estate Group.  

The key for DM is to get your phone ringing. 

Went to my first local meeting up (the RING) earlier this month and met Robert Leonard (and a lot of other local investors) in person.

I'll actually be visiting Memphis for the first time in a few months to attend his wedding.  

We get a lot of bad information that comes around and fight hard to explain to people why they can't deduct their wedding etc.

Google "ring baton rouge" and it will be at the top of the list. 

People love barn weddings.
