I'm selling an investment property and want to know if the proceeds can be used towards a new build on an empty lot I already own.

Still working on building that. 

We looked at full time management locally but decided to build out a team instead. 

The manager and mngt company work in tandem daily to manage tenants, buildings, maintenance, contractors, accounting, escrow, HR, taxes, fair housing, municipalities, legal etc… It does take a village for sure. 

I am going to be the financing arm of a new build and sell business.

My top priority at the moment is to build a team to work with me through this process.

If I were to buy a building that is in second mortgage foreclosure.

I purchased a new build and an older home 3 years ago. 

But I'm also building an ADU here at my primary in California.

If im going to pay 4-500k for a 30 year old home, i might as well spend around the same if not less to build my own smaller home the way i want it..Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.
